I welcome my colleagues and fellow accademics to this web site. If you would like to discuss any of my published work, please feel free to contact me. My professional interests are mainly in Engineering and my work today has been focused on signal processing and machine learning to bridge innovative ways in these areas.

Research Group in Consolidation (CAEC): Artificial Vision, Control and Robotics   UACJ-CA-109 registration in PRODEP

Welcome to the website of the research group: Artificial Vision, Control and Robotics with registration in PRODEP and Autonomous University of Ciudad Juarez, in the Department of Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering.

Description of the knowledge generation and application approach (es) LGAC:

Research focused on the control of industrial processes through artificial vision algorithms and control strategies of robotic servomechanisms.

The research is strongly linked to the degree programs in Mechatronics Engineering, Master in Techniology and PhD. in Technology, which focuse on the mechatronics field for control systems and artificial vision. In addition, the LGAC will allow the development of research projects in connection with the manufacturing industry of the region in the areas of quality control by artificial vision and mechatronics system developments.

The area of artificial vision, instrumentation and control is in the research boom and examples of it are the multiple congresses and journals dedicated to the area such as those organized by IEEE, Springer, ACM and others.

INTEGRANTS GROWING THE LGAC:

Dr. Manuel de Jesús Nandayapa Alfaro.
Dr. Ángel Flores Abad.
Dr. Ángel Israel Soto Marrufo.
Dr. Ricardo Rodriguez Jorge.
Dr. Ulises Israel Ponce Monarrez.

The research approach of artificial vision, instrumentation and control is linked to the work developed as projects of diploma thesis by students of Mechatronics Engineering, Masters in Technology and PhD. in Technology where the research group participates actively.
